Getting the whole family together for a photo can be difficult, but our team is fun to work with and will capture your family with memorable professional photography. 

Yours Truly Photography is a full service lab and studio located just up the road from The Tides Inn in Kilmarnock, VA.  We have a team of excellent photographers who do their best to accommodate your schedule.  We can usually have a photographer on property in the same day!

Weddings, Elopements & Vow Renewals

The Tides Inn is the perfect place to say “I do”. With beautiful views, fine dining, lush overnight accommodations, and Northern Neck charm, it’s the perfect setting for your special day.

We’ve photographed weddings from just two people to over 200, and everything in between. Steve is a Certified Professional Photographer and has been photographing at The Tides Inn since 2006. We’re fast and efficient - knowing the property like we do allows us get more photos, in the best locations, in less time. We post your retouched images online where you and guests can order prints and digital image files.

Photography Fee
$250 per hour ($500 min. commitment)
Optional Services -
• Full resolution digital image files: $500
• Custom designed wedding album $500+ (dependent on countless options)
• Professional videography service $250 per hour ($500 min. commitment, includes final video)

Family Reunions, Family Portraits & Anniversaries

These are great times to have a new family portrait made. These days it’s hard to get everyone together when its not a funeral (just telling it how it is for my family!) Take an hour and have us come over to capture some great images. We’ll take several big group photos, then smaller groups - immediate families, all the kids with the grandparents, the older siblings together - however the dynamics of your family are. We keep it fun, and work with mobility issues some of your guests may have. We’ll move around the property a bit to keep the photos interesting and the mood fun. We're very accustomed to working with guests from out of town, we are easy to contact and our experienced staff makes the process easy.

Arriving by water?  We'll meet you at your slip for a session on and around your boat!

Total time is typically 30-60 minutes.

Marriage Proposals

We know exactly how you feel. You’re nervous, you’re juggling a lot of details, and trying not to give it away. We’ve got you covered! Here’s how this works. Give us a call and set it all up ahead of time, let us know your idea, and together we’ll devise a plan. The day of, we’re in contact by text. I’ll let you know when I’m in place, then when you’re ready - pop the question. After the pressure is off, I’ll be there to take a few photos of the two of you and any family and friends that are present as well.
